Job Summary
Job Summary
As a Security Awareness Analyst, you will be responsible for the agency’s security awareness program, which includes updating content, presenting, and managing the technology to deliver the training. You will also work on risk assessments and assist with audits.


Minimum Qualifications:
Position requires a minimum of three (3) years of experience in an information technology field that includes experience:

requirements analysis
creating or delivering training
A Bachelor’s degree in Information Security and Assurance, Computer Forensics or a related Information Security field substitutes for two years of experience, OR a related Associate’s substitutes for one year.

Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Security or related field


Knowledge of Information security standards (NIST, ISO 27001/17799), legal and regulatory requirements and controls that have a direct relationship to information security and privacy practices (FISMA, HIPAA, IRS Publication 1075, FBI Criminal Justice Information Security (CJIS), Social Security Administration (SSA) Information Security Requirements for State and Local Governments, GLBA, Payment Card Industry (PCI), FERPA etc.)


Communicating and training of technical issues to non-technical employees


Writing project plans, establishing priorities, allocating resources/workloads in a team environment


Experience developing and delivering written and oral communications, presentations, and documentation


Security certification (CISSP, CISA, CISM, GSEC, Security+, etc.)
