Candidate for President

Ranae Moore

Ranae Moore has served as a frequent career and talent mentor for programs like Executive Women’s Forum LIFT As You Rise and Target’s Software Engineering recruitment program also attending Women in Cybersecurity helping build and foster security professionals at all levels.  She has also been a chosen speaker at several Security focused conferences such as Executive Women’s Forum in 2019 and Secure360 Twin Cities, in 2020 sharing her experience and expertise in achieving DevSecOps in a modern Cloud environment. She is CISSP certified with a focus on security architecture and has been an Internal Security Assessor for PCI programs at both FIS and Target.  

Ranae is a forward-thinking security professional who is passionate about exploring and creating innovative ways to apply security to modern infrastructure and architecture. She has 10+ years of demonstrated experience in conquering challenges through collaboration and creative problem solving in various Information Security positions.  Throughout her security career, she has earned a reputation as a thought leader and action-oriented problem solver in a vast array of business and technology areas and is respected by her peers as a specialist in her field.  Ranae is currently employed at Target Corporation as a Principal Cyber Security Analyst. Since coming to Target, Ranae has helped to deliver strategic vision and leadership by driving key initiatives including PCI in the Cloud, API security measures and visibility, and Infrastructure as Code security adoption, which have helped improve the risk and security posture of Target as a whole.   

Personal goal for MN ISSA is to continue building our effective and inclusive program.  Because we all know you don’t need Security or Risk in your job title to have ownership of your product, system, or even platform’s security posture, I want to encourage participation from all disciplines that address security and risk within an organization into the conversation.  I want to provide a space where we can learn and grow in our security/risk knowledge together.  This in turn will help better define the role of ISSA in future security/risk culture within the Twin Cities.

Candidate for Treasurer

Candace Morse

Background/Relevant Experience: I have been in the Treasurer role for the last two-year term and am familiar with the people, processes and tools needed to manage the MN ISSA finances.  I’ve been a member of this fine board for several years and prior to treasurer, I’ve served as Secretary for at least 2 terms.

Goals for the Chapter: Enhancing the Treasurer procedures and assist where I can in our Chapter events.
